HTC Emergency Response
On the night of July 30, 2009, there was an attack on the Christian village of Korian, that burned 60 homes. On August 1, 2009, at 1:30 PM, a mob attacked a Christian in Gojra City, which also resulted in nine people being burnt alive, burnt 50 homes and looted 100 others. More than two thousand Christian families have settled here over the past fifty years.
HTC has provided emergency help to both of these affected areas with free medical care. Thousands of these residents were living in temporary shelter or in the open environment.

Emergency Response in Flood 2010
In 2010 a serve monsoon flood ravaged interior Pakistan, causing our rivers to severely overflow their banks. The results of this caused 1,600 deaths and put 3.5 million children at risk from deadly water-borne diseases. HTC provided clean water for affected areas.
The government of Pakistan provided many basic services to the affected people during and after the floods. HTC noticed that female basic hygiene needed more attention. After an assessment we focused on providing them with basic medical care and hygiene products
